Anyone for a dinner of caramelized pork loin?  Yeah, we thought so. While the dish has a slight sweetness to it and is filled with tastes of warm spices, it is free of sweeteners and completely clean. We first marinade the pork in apple cider, sage, cinnamon, date-paste, and Italian herbs.  After browning it nicely and cooking throughout we serve it with roasted apples, butternut squash, and wilted spinach.  A side of apple-cider & sage gastrique brings some zest to the warm winter flavors of the dish.

Remove plastic cover from container and set aside any garnishes.

  • Oven: heat to 375 degrees. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until warm throughout.
  • Microwave: 2-3 minutes or until warm throughout.

Garnish and serve.

Pork Loin Marinade; apple cider, sage, cinnamon, date paste, salt, Italian herbs

Roasted butternut squash, roasted apples, and roasted red onions, spinach,  tossed with sage and gastrique, served with a side of gastrique.
