Come hungry: in this dish we serve one half of a hormone-free chicken! Our chicken is marinated and rubbed with a spicy-sweet ancho pepper marinade. It's then slow roasted until it's tender and delicious. This protein-rich main is served with a mango and mixed green salad with avocado tomatillo dressing. Our chicken is sourced locally from Gerber Amish Farms (Kidron, OH), our onion is from Alsum Farms (Friesland, WI) and our mixed greens are from Revol Greens (Medford, MN).
Disclaimer: There may be variabilities in cooking time based on equipment used. Always test for temperature until the meal is warmed to your liking. Oven: heat to 350 degrees. Remove plastic film, salad and dressing from the container before cooking. Place container with chicken on a sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes. Check food then continue cooking for 5-10 minutes or until warm throughout. Salad is best enjoyed cold, just toss with dressing and enjoy!
Microwave: Remove plastic film, salad and dressing from container and microwave dish for 2 minutes. Continue to cook in 20 second increments or until warm throughout.
