The word shakshuka comes from Arabic and is translated to “a haphazard mixture” or “all mixed up.” Shakshuka is a classic and well-known dish in both North Africa and the Middle East. Ours is vegetarian and comes with marinated tofu, roma tomato, spanish onion, red and green peppers, kale and a poached egg on top. Spiced with mouthwatering flavors like cumin, smoked paprika, turmeric and red pepper flakes, we love it and we know you will too! Local sourcing for our tofu comes from Phoenix Bean (Chicago, IL). Our eggs come from Lambright Ranch (Plateville, WI).
