A Whole30 Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is around the corner – and for many of us, that means a lot of food – and choices – all at once. But, navigating Thanksgiving while on a round of Whole30 doesn’t have to be challenging. The basic holiday meal is protein (hello, turkey!) + veggies. Many traditional menu items are already compatible with Whole30, and others can easily be made to fit the program.

Below, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes that will keep you on track for your Whole30. You don’t need a holiday to enjoy these great recipes, but they can make getting through Turkey Day a snap if you’re on a round.

If cooking for the holiday is not your thing – and you live local to Chicago – Cooked has you covered! Once again, they’re offering a Whole30 Approved Thanksgiving meal that includes pasture-raised roasted turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, Brussels sprout salad, cranberry chutney, and turkey sausage “stuffing.” Get your order in by Wednesday November 17 for this delicious meal. (Deliveries will be made on Wednesday November 24.)
